Exception Signals (ES)

Exception Signals (ES) is a customizable alert system that allows companies to proactively identify when sales, vendor delivery performance, forecasts, supply, or supplier lead time deviates from plan; allowing you to manage by exception.

ES compliments Demand Manager, Requirements Planner, and Supply Base Manager working as a watch dog to forewarn companies of inventory variations. It captures messages from each of these modules and presents them to buyers and planners in a prioritized order. ES provides the company with the personal vigilance over inventory levels; alerting management only when inventories rise above or fall below the user defined alerts.

Exception Signals allows companies to:

  • Effectively manage large numbers of inventory items, thereby increasing productivity
  • Prevent stock outs and excessive inventory buildup
  • Avoid setbacks associated with supplier delivery problems

RockySoft's Exception Signals is an invaluable tool for achieving lean inventory management. ES allows companies not only to be informed of inventory fluctuations before they become an issue, but also helps companies realign these levels to get back on course. Exception Signals is handy and easy to use.
