Orr Safety awards RockySoft Eagle Award for Excellence in Purchasing Support
October 23, 2007 – Orr Safety recognized RockySoft with their Eagle Award for Excellence in Purchasing Support. RockySoft and Orr Safety formed their partnership in 2003. This award recognizes a partnership which aids Orr Safety in making their organization more profitable each year.
Just over 5 years ago, they installed RockySoft’s demand planning and inventory management software to control inventory amounts, improve turns, lower freight costs and lower inventory levels.
For the past 3 years, Orr has seen over a 2.25% improvement in their gross margin percentage. Orr Safety attributes this to their partnership with RockySoft.
